Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her early years listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs, as well old classical pieces. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. She also loves operas and any form dramatic performance. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive training in singing. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. As a student and young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. In 2000 she moved back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private events. She is passionate about the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
