MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the rank of eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He released Dopamina which was his top charting sophomore album in the following year. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a household of music both his parents are musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral element of his existence. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as a young child. While his initial career goal was to be a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian convinced him to try taking singing lessons from the Cuban. It changed his entire life.
