Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia she is a Spanish singer of flamenco. When she was a teenager she sang in both the traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to older versions. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released on March 20, 2022 after performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami, Rosalia's album that has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to have the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
